Welcome to Fitspire Personal Training. By becoming a member, you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain English—no confusing legal jargon. If you have questions, just ask.
We offer two membership types:
Month-to-Month Membership: Pay monthly with no long-term commitment. You can cancel anytime with 7 days' written notice.
6-Month Commitment Membership: Commit to 6 months and receive a discounted rate. You must complete the full 6 months before canceling, but you can pause/freeze your membership if needed (see Pause Policy below).
All memberships include access to small group training sessions (maximum 6 people per coach) during our scheduled session times.
28-Day Billing Cycle: Memberships are billed every 28 days (not calendar monthly). This means you'll receive 13 billing periods per year instead of 12. Each billing period includes the same number of sessions regardless of how many days are in the calendar month.
Payment Methods: We accept credit cards and ACH bank transfers. Payment information is securely stored and processed through our payment provider.
Failed Payments: If your payment fails, we'll notify you and attempt to process it again. If payment cannot be processed within 7 days, your membership will be suspended until payment is received.
Updating Payment Information: You can update your payment information anytime by submitting a request through our Member Resources page or contacting us directly.
No Refunds: Membership fees are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-month, you'll retain access through the end of your current billing cycle.
Month-to-Month Members: You can cancel anytime with 7 days' written notice. Submit your cancellation request through our Member Resources page. We'll process it within 24 hours and confirm via email. Your membership will remain active through the end of your current billing cycle.
6-Month Commitment Members: You must complete your 6-month commitment before canceling. After your commitment period ends, your membership automatically converts to month-to-month, and you can cancel anytime with 7 days' notice.
How to Cancel: Submit a cancellation request through the Member Resources page on our website (no phone call required). We'll confirm receipt and process your request within 24 hours.
Life happens. If you need to take a break, you can pause your membership for up to 1 month at a time.
How to Request a Freeze: Submit a freeze request through our Member Resources page at least 7 days before your desired freeze start date.
Billing During Freeze: Your membership is billed at a reduced freeze rate (contact us for current freeze pricing). This holds your spot and keeps your membership active.
Reactivation: Your membership automatically reactivates on your requested return date. You'll receive an email reminder 7 days before reactivation.
6-Month Members: Freezing your membership extends your 6-month commitment period by the length of the freeze. For example, if you freeze for 1 months during a 6-month commitment, your total commitment becomes 7 months.
Self-Service Scheduling: Members book sessions through our scheduling app (Vagaro). You can book up to 30 days in advance.
Cancellation Window: You must cancel or reschedule at least 6 hours before your scheduled session. Late cancellations (less than 6 hours) or no-shows count against your weekly sessions.
Session Limits: Your membership includes a set number of sessions per week (2x, 3x, or 4x depending on your plan). Unused sessions do not roll over to the next week.
Guests: Members may bring one guest per month for free. Additional guests require prior approval and may be subject to a guest fee.
To keep Fitspire safe and welcoming for everyone, we ask that you:
Arrive on time for your scheduled sessions (doors lock at session start time)
Wear appropriate athletic attire and closed-toe shoes
Bring a water bottle and towel
Respect equipment and return weights to proper storage
Follow all coach instructions regarding exercise form and safety
Keep the facility clean (wipe down equipment after use)
Be respectful and supportive of other members
Private Facility: Fitspire is a private, members-only facility. Only active members and their approved guests are permitted on the premises during session times.
Assumption of Risk: Exercise involves physical exertion and carries inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle soreness, strains, sprains, and in rare cases, more serious injury. By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree to follow all safety instructions provided by our coaches.
Medical Clearance: If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or concerns, consult your physician before beginning any exercise program. Inform your coach of any physical limitations or injuries so we can modify exercises as needed.
Insurance: Fitspire carries general liability insurance, but you are responsible for your own health insurance coverage.
Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Fitspire Personal Training, its owners, coaches, and staff from any liability for injuries or damages sustained while using our facilities or participating in our programs.
We're building a supportive community. We expect all members to:
Treat coaches and other members with respect
Avoid disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior
Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or bullying of any kind
Follow all posted rules and coach instructions
Violation of Conduct: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate memberships for violations of our code of conduct, with or without refund, at our sole discretion.
From time to time, we may take photos or videos in our facility for marketing purposes (website, social media, etc.). If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know and we'll honor your request.
We'll always ask for explicit permission before using before/after photos or testimonials that identify you personally.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
Membership Rates: We may adjust membership rates annually. Current members will be notified at least 30 days before any rate change takes effect. You can choose to accept the new rate or cancel your membership with 7 days' notice.
